    1992-1997 Suzuki GSX600f Katana OEM size is 530x112, 14t Ft. Sprocket, 45t Rear Sprocket
    For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use a 48 tooth rear.
    (the -1t front sprocket change is more versatile because you can change back to the stock size 15t with same chain,
    the +1t rear sprocket change requires a different chain length, which needs altered to go back to stock)
    Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be
    slightly
    higher than with stock gearing, and terminal top speed will be
    slightly
    reduced.
    For Faster top speed., and lower high speed cruising RPM's..... Use a 15t tooth Ft. OR a 42,43 tooth rear
    (
    the -3t or -2t rear sprocket change requires a different chain length, which needs altered to go back to stock)
    Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be lower, and your off the line takeoff will be slower.

    size sprockets are the calculated
    "Happy Medium"
    of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration.
    * A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.
    EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)
    EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front
    and
    +1 tooth rear
    combined
    is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)
    As stated...  Stock gearing is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.
