The 3 mm thickness of the stamped steel plate is heavier than OEM.
The steel plate is Mig-Tig welded on both sides to the gear ring.
The high manganese carbon steel gear ring is broached from
CNC
machine centers for superior contact for engines frequently kicked on and off.
Are tested to
12,500 RPM
for explosion proof in compliance with
S.F.I. 29.1 specification.
Surface is yellow dichromate finished.
Fits BB Mopar
360/361/383/413/46/440 1959-1989
blocks with 727 or 904 torqueflite transmissions.
Has triple bolt pattern, can be used with the stock 5/16" bolts in either the 11 1/8" or the 10" bolt circles and also with the Hemi 7/16" bolts in a 10" bolt circle.
This flexplate is neutrally balanced (no weighted) for 6 bolt cranks.
